Broker-only insurer MMA has announced the appointment of Chris Line to the newly established role of Major Account Manager.
The new role, which reports directly into Peter Knowles, Head of UK Development, is responsible for managing MMA’s high volume broker relationships and overseeing its key accounts. It has been introduced in response to the challenge insurers, such as MMA, face of receiving high volumes of business from a reduced number of key brokers.
Peter Knowles, commented: “Chris brings with him the skills and experience that will enable MMA to take our management of key distributors to a new level. As we obtain more and more of our business from fewer distributors it becomes more critical that we manage these relationships more effectively.”
Chris joins MMA from Allianz where he spent 11 years and was most recently responsible for developing key accounts and overseeing relationships with volume sellers such as Lloyds TSB and Endsleigh across the south of the UK.
